Letter to the Seattle immigration office about Ernst Hamann

A second document from the enemy alien case of Ernst Hamann, this one addressed to the Commissioner of Immigration in Seattle. Hamann arrived in the United States days after Wilson's proclamation of 6 April 1917 and was held on Angel Island. The papers are preserved by the National Archives.
