Italian ultimatum to Tirana

On 25 March 1939 Rome delivered an ultimatum to Tirana demanding that Albania consent to an Italian occupation. Zog attempted to negotiate rather than accept or refuse outright. The demand followed Germany's occupation of Prague earlier the same month.
