Radio Tirana begins broadcasting
1938
Radio Tirana was launched about five months after the royal wedding of April 1938. The wedding itself was broadcast, an early use of radio for Albanian state ceremony. The station remains Albania's national broadcaster. Wikipedia's phrasing is ambiguous: it says the wedding was broadcast via Radio Tirana and that the station launched five months later. Both cannot be straightforwardly true; treat the launch date as uncertain.
