The April 1938 wedding of Zog and Géraldine was filmed and distributed as an international newsreel item; British Pathé holds a film titled 'King Zog's Wedding in Albania'. It was the moment Albania's monarchy reached the widest foreign audience it ever had. The footage is the principal moving-image record of the reign at its height.
