Abaz Kupi's defence of Durrës

At Durrës Major Abaz Kupi led roughly 500 gendarmes and armed volunteers with three machine guns and coastal artillery against the Italian landing. They held for a few hours before Italian naval gunfire broke the position. Albanian losses across the invasion were reported as 160 killed and several hundred wounded.
