Rustemi's funeral at Vlorë becomes an anti-Zogist demonstration

Rustemi was buried at Vlorë on 30 April 1924 before a crowd of some 10,000, including 26 members of the National Assembly. The funeral turned into an open political demonstration against Zogu. Opposition deputies subsequently withdrew from parliament.
