The Vienna gunmen and the wider conspiracy

Contemporary press named four Albanian political émigrés in the Vienna attack: Ndok Gjeloshi, Aziz Çami, Qazim Mulleti and Angjelin Suma. Zog was leaving the opera house after a performance when shots were fired on both sides of his car. The Times reported the attempt as part of a conspiracy organised by Albanian refugees in Yugoslavia.
