MAY 03 1930
Zog decreed the Law on Agrarian Reform on 3 May 1930, providing for the expropriation with compensation of one third of each bey's estate for resale to peasants on easy terms. It also included a moratorium on villagers' debts. It was the central social reform of the reign and the one that most conspicuously failed.
