4chan captures the He Will Not Divide Us flag

After the Museum of the Moving Image shut down Shia LaBeouf's livestream installation, the artists relocated it to a flag on a pole at an undisclosed rural location, streaming only sky. Beginning 8 March 2017, 4chan users cross-referenced aircraft contrails against flight-tracking data, analysed star positions, listened for local livestock, and used a LaBeouf sighting at a diner in Greeneville, Tennessee to triangulate the site. Within about 36 hours a user drove to the location and took the flag. It is the canonical example of crowdsourced open-source geolocation used for a prank.
