Skull Breaker Challenge injuries and criminal charges

In February 2020 a challenge spread in which two people kicked the legs out from under a third as they jumped, causing them to fall backwards onto their head. Documented injuries included a broken wrist, facial stitches and concussions. Two New Jersey teenagers were charged with third-degree aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child after a seventh-grader was hospitalised with a serious head injury and a seizure.
