Foo Fighters counter-protest the Westboro Baptist Church

In August 2015 Westboro Baptist Church members picketed a Foo Fighters show in Kansas City. The band rolled up in a pickup truck, blasted 'Never Gonna Give You Up' at the protesters through a PA rig and danced along. Dave Grohl's group repeated the gesture at later shows, and in 2017 brought Astley himself on stage in Tokyo.
