How the SVEA money was spent

The SVEA loan went 34.5 per cent to road construction, 25 per cent to bridges, 19.5 per cent to buildings, 15 per cent to the port of Durrës and 6 per cent to other purposes. The spending gave Albania its first modern road and bridge network. Almost nothing went to productive agriculture, the sector employing most Albanians.
