Sveti Naum ceded to Yugoslavia

On 28 June 1925 Zogu's government ceded the monastery of Sveti Naum on Lake Ohrid to Yugoslavia. The transfer was widely read as payment for the Yugoslav backing that had returned him to power six months earlier. It became a standing charge against him among nationalist opponents.
