The royal residences

The monarchy's residences were the Royal Palace of Tirana, the Royal Villa at Durrës and a residence at Shkodër. The Tirana palace was the site of the 1938 wedding and of Leka's birth in 1939, and of Leka II's wedding in 2016. It remains a state property in republican Albania.
