The Royal Albanian Army established

The Royal Albanian Army was constituted in 1928 with Zog as commander-in-chief holding the rank of Marshal, General Xhemal Aranitasi as commander and General Gustav von Myrdacz as chief of the general staff. It fielded around 15,600 personnel with some 29,860 reserves across nine military districts. Its equipment amounted to 2 tanks, 6 tankettes, 8 armoured cars, two gunboats, four MAS boats and five aircraft.
