Frankie Knuckles, the DJ who built house at the Warehouse in Chicago out of disco records for a largely Black and gay crowd, playing a Boiler Room session in New York less than a year before his death. Filmed footage of Knuckles at work is scarce, which makes this one of the archive's most important rows. He died on 31 March 2014.
