Radiation cleanup fraud at the Hunters Point shipyard

KPIX Bay Area news report on the cleanup of radiological contamination at the former Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, which an environmental group called the biggest case of eco-fraud in United States history. The yard peaked at 17,000 to 18,500 wartime jobs and by 1945 covered 979 acres with six drydocks. From July 1946 it served as the decontamination site for ships irradiated at Bikini, and hosted the Naval Radiological Defense Laboratory until 1969.
