Genthe transparency made on the morning of the quake
1906
One of Genthe's frames made on 18 April 1906, filed with his photographs of Chinatown and the earthquake. Unusually for the set this survives as a transparency rather than a negative. The Library of Congress catalogue records the date and the photographer but does not describe the view itself.
