Crowds fill the Chinese New Year parade route

Tens of thousands turned out for San Francisco's Chinese New Year Parade, the largest Lunar New Year celebration outside Asia, with Olympic gold medallist and city native Eileen Gu serving as grand marshal and a drone show accompanying the procession. The parade runs through the same Chinatown streets where a driverless taxi was burned during the 2024 holiday weekend.
