Groundbreaking for affordable housing on South Van Ness

The Mission Economic Development Agency and the Chinatown Community Development Center broke ground on Casa Adelante at 1515 South Van Ness, a project bringing 168 affordable homes to the Mission District. The ceremony marks construction starting on subsidised housing during the city's long argument over what housing costs.
