FR3's regional news Normandie soir reported a new on-demand television service delivered to viewers via Minitel, billed as the 'mariage de l'audiovisuel et de la télématique'. Journalist Rémi Roche's piece illustrated the 'connected television' process and included an interview with Robert Roland; INA states the newsroom concocted it as an April Fools joke.
