Jenkem drug panic

A user on the Totse message board posted a fabricated account, with staged photos, of getting high by inhaling gas from fermented human waste. The Collier County Sheriff's Office in Florida circulated an internal bulletin about the supposed drug, and by November 2007 the panic had reached national outlets including Fox News and ABC. The author had already confessed the hoax, saying he used flour, water, beer and Nutella. The DEA confirmed no verified cases in the United States.
