Le canular des Justiciers masqués contre Sarah Palin (CKOI-FM, Montréal)
NOV 01 2008
Marc-Antoine Audette and Sébastien Trudel of Montreal's CKOI-FM worked up through Alaska staff for days before reaching the Republican vice-presidential candidate, one of them posing as Nicolas Sarkozy. Over roughly six minutes they discussed foreign policy and hunting while dropping absurdities, Johnny Hallyday as adviser on American affairs, the singer Stef Carse as Canada's prime minister, without Palin catching on. A landmark of the Québécois canular téléphonique tradition.
