For me, the only way to cut through that feeling of helplessness is to go out and actually DO something! Six years ago, when I kept encountering plastic litter when surfing, I got tired of everyone only talking about the issue. I wanted to actually get my hands dirty and try and make an impact. So at 19 | joined Norways largest beach cleaning organisation and was meant to stay for a 2 months mission. Well... six years later and I am still involved with them - cleaning one of the most remote and vulnerable coastlines of the planet and now also making a documentary film about it all! Aaahh!!
