Our travel continues north: from Selsøyvik to Grønnøy, the so called green island 🌳 Surrounded by snow-covered mountains, crystal clear water, and long Arctic evenings, we spent our days beach cleaning along the rugged coastline of Meløy as part of the Rydd i Tide programme ⛰️ From the very first second, we were welcomed by the locals. Curious visitors stepped aboard our boat for chats, fishermen shared life stories with us on the dock, and locals even helped us gather the trash depots we collected along the road.
