Larry Heard's original on his own Alleviated label, and effectively the birth certificate of deep house: chords borrowed from jazz and soul laid over a drum machine, warm where the rest of Chicago was brutal. Heard built it at home, which is one of the accounts of where the word 'house' came from at all.
