An hour-long Channel 4 Equinox episode from 1994 turning the strand's science-documentary format on rave: the music, the drugs and the crowds, broadcast in the same year the Criminal Justice Act was passed. It is establishment television trying to explain a culture it was simultaneously helping to criminalise.
