Nature isn’t a backdrop for tourism.

Nature isn’t a backdrop for tourism. Aldabra Atoll is a pristine UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its nature at its most powerful: remote, raw and abundant. Over 400 species found nowhere else on Earth call it their home. The kind of nature that makes you feel small. But sadly, it is currently under threat from a luxury @rosewoodhotels development only 27km away on Assomption Island. Concrete has been poured over wilderness. A tortoise has been crushed by heavy machinery. Sea turtle nests have been covered by a 5.5km water pipe. There has been nothing but disregard for the wildlife of Aldabra and Assomption. This has to stop. Follow along to help #ProtectAldabra and stop this hotel development. 🐢🐋🦀🦎🪼 #ProtectAssomption #ProtectAldabra #Seychelles
