How would you define an “eco-resort”? The developments linked to @rosewoodhotels in The Bahamas and Seychelles are being described as “sustainable”, “conscious” and “responsible.” Yet these high-density luxury developments threaten fragile island, marine and coral ecosystems in Sampson Cay and on Assomption Island. From pristine coral reefs and seagrass meadows to endemic species found nowhere else on Earth, these are ecosystems that cannot be replaced. If this is “sustainability,” the word has been emptied of meaning. We’re calling on Rosewood to withdraw - publicly and in writing - from both developments. Tell them to cut ties with these projects: → Comment on their posts → Email: development@rosewoodhotelgroup.com → Take action via link in bio #SaveSampsonCay #StoptheDredge #SaveExuma #ProtectAssomption #ProtectAldabra
