Healer
The name is a job description. Patron of physicians, nurses, apothecaries and the sick, and of the blind after Tobit's cataracts; the fish gall that does the curing and its place in ancient medicine; hospitals and sanatoria that took his name, including the mission founded in California in 1817 explicitly as a place for the sick.
