Because the few moments inside the sale ring determine whether they end up in the hands of a kill buyer, to be sold for meat and shipped across the border to be slaughtered in Mexico. It is especially crucial for wild horses like this mare Clementine, and her best friend Mae. These few moments in the ring decide whether they stay together and gets# to come to sanctuary or end up with the kill buyer to be meat in the canal horse meat market.
