Wild Horses VS. Sheep Dogs. Today is National Horse Protection Day! The Onaqui Wild Horses in the West Desert of Utah are thirsty after a long day in the desert's extreme heat. There are vernal pools of water that the herd uses to replenish their thirst. On this occasion they run into trouble.
