Over 1,000 Colorado wild horses are about to lose their freedom. This weekend, helicopters will begin chasing wild horses across more than 313,000 acres of public land in northwestern Colorado. The Bureau of Land Management plans to gather approximately 1,025 wild horses. Only 10 are expected to receive fertility control and return home.
