Kavachi: The birth of an island

This footage captures Kavachi, a submarine volcano located in the Solomon Islands, in different stages. The volcano has emerged and eroded back into the ocean at least ten times since it was first recorded. It took several visits over a few years to film it. It isn't the best due to being on a tiny boat at times, but it's still quite wond.
