44th Infantry supply company massed at the Palace of Fine Arts
1919
A wide panoramic portrait of the unit drawn up in front of the colonnade and rotunda built for the 1915 exposition. The Palace survived the fair as a landmark on the edge of the Presidio, and the army used its grounds as a backdrop for company photographs.
