An engraved advertisement for Spreckels and Company's Albany Brewery, printed in Henry G. Langley's San Francisco business directory. Claus Spreckels built his fortune in the city through brewing before turning to the sugar trade that made his name. The illustration is credited to T. C. Boyd.
