Three weeks after his election, Daniel Lurie sat for a televised interview on returning workers to downtown offices, public safety, and broadening the city's economy beyond technology. Lurie, a Levi Strauss heir and founder of the anti-poverty group Tipping Point, had never held elected office before defeating incumbent London Breed.
