Newspaper advertisement for Harvey Milk's run for supervisor

A campaign advertisement placed by the Committee to Elect Harvey Milk, printed in the San Francisco Chronicle on 29 October 1975. This was Milk's second unsuccessful run for the Board of Supervisors; he would not win a seat until 1977. Buying newspaper space was one of the few ways an outsider candidate could reach voters citywide.
