A panoramic view of the 2nd California Field Artillery encamped at Camp Tanforan, south of San Francisco, in the year the United States entered the First World War. Tanforan's racetrack grounds were repeatedly turned over to military use over the following decades. The negative is part of the Presidio collection in NPGallery.
