Ferlinghetti on his painting and the City Lights years

David Perry interviews Lawrence Ferlinghetti about a museum exhibition of his visual art and about his history in San Francisco. Ferlinghetti bought out his partner Peter D. Martin's half of City Lights in 1955 for a thousand dollars and built the publishing arm around the Pocket Poets Series.
