An interview with Dr Ahimsa Sumchai of the Hunters Point Community Biomonitoring Program on the pattern of disease among shipyard workers and neighbouring residents. Hunters Point peaked at some 17,000 to 18,500 wartime jobs and then became the decontamination site for ships irradiated at Bikini, with a Naval Radiological Defense Laboratory operating there until 1969.
