Reggae

The whole story of reggae, from the ska and rocksteady of newly-independent 1960s Jamaica to the roots-reggae golden age, from Bob Marley carrying the music to the world to Peter Tosh, Burning Spear and the legends who defined it, from the studio science of dub and King Tubby to the raw and digital rhythms of dancehall, the sound systems where it was all born, and its spread from Kingston to London, Africa and beyond, all held together by the Rastafari faith and culture that gives the music its message.

A chronological documentary of 214 moments spanning 1962–2026 on Loreline.
