The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, photographed for Wiki Loves Monuments in September 2016. Opened as a playhouse in 1926 to a design by architect Thomas W. Lamb, it became a performance space in the 1960s hosting the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin and Pink Floyd, and reopened as a rock venue in 2012.
