The Haight and Ashbury street-sign intersection today
1967
The road intersection in San Francisco that gave the surrounding district its name, photographed in June 2015. The uploader notes that up to 100,000 young people from across the United States and beyond converged on the area during the 1967 Summer of Love, and that the neighbourhood still draws visitors on that reputation. Photographed by Mike McBey.
