Google Nose BETA brings smell to search

Google announced an olfactory search feature letting users experience smells through their screens, claiming an 'Aromabase' of over 15 million 'scentibytes'. Advertised components included Street Sense, said to index odours via Google's camera cars, and Android Ambient Odor Detection. The official 'Introducing Google Nose' video was posted 31 March 2013.
