This week the #oceanCARE team met up with Anne Lerfald @Akkasurf at Tavaha Løa in Hoddevik. Tavaha Løa is a deposit and sorting center for marine litter picked in the Hoddevik bay, founded by @Nordicoceanwatch She kindly offered to show us the different types of plastics that were collected. All together we then sorted the trash into various categories such bottle caps, lighters, balloons, different rope sizes, fuses, bouy pieces, etc. This visit was not only a lot of fun but more importantly a great opportunity to explore an efficient sorting structure and experience how other environmental organisations function.
