June 8th is World Ocean Day. For us, it’s also Monday. We may not have been around for 100 years (yet), but for the past nearly 10 years we’ve been living at sea fighting against plastic pollution and for the protection of our oceans. We agree with Sir David Attenborough that the most important place is at sea. While today is a moment to celebrate and appreciate the ocean, protecting it requires more than a single day of awareness. It takes consistent action, collaboration, and people willing to get their hands dirty.
