WE 👏 ARE 👏 SO 👏 MANY and it really does add up! What really made me understand that, was hearing some numbers of our cleanup mission from our captain: One of our beach cleaners cleans around 30 kg / hour. One team of beach cleaners cleans 2000 kg / day. And since 2017 we have cleaned 1 800 000 kgs 🤯. And there are of course so many other people, other crews, all over the world - cleaning up! And this isn’t beachcleaning-specific of course. EVERYTHING ADDS UP! And I truly believe that change will have to come from the bottom up. Neither industries nor governments are going to change anything - unless we demand it! #plasticpollution
