What do we know about microplastics?🦋 Every day, we encounter beaches overwhelmed by microplastics, reminding us of the critical need to prevent plastic pollution in the first place before it’s too late! @rydd_i_tide 🌊 At this beach, we collected 200 kilos of microplastics, but we only scratched the surface. Digging deeper would damage the ecosystem and do more harm than good.🌈 This beach was last cleaned four years ago, so we can only imagine how quickly microplastics accumulate and embed themselves!🥲 We will continue our cleanup missions and advocacy with the goal of one day never having to see beaches like this again. @handelensm
