Death of Queen Géraldine in Tirana

Géraldine died on 22 October 2002 in the military hospital in Tirana, aged 87. She had outlived Zog by 41 years. Her grandson's daughter, born in 2020, was deliberately named Geraldine and delivered on the anniversary of her death.
